Coin balance of the shelf-edge type, by Bradford, Derby and Bulls, of Chipping Camden, Gloucester, England. Patented in 1753. The fulcrum is two small knife-edged feet below the beam. The swan neck fitting can be moved out to an alternative position for hydrostatic weighing. 7,6" long Brass in black leather case. Portugal piece and moidore with their sub-divisions, from 4s.6d to 3P.12s.
