This is one of the rarer sovereign tester with his original paper case. The scale proof the thickness and the weight of a half and full sovereign. The arrangement of the slots, which proof the thickness is unusual because they are vertical to the beam. Normal they are horizontal because the slots can break easy if they are vertical.
